THE DESIGN

The sleek metal body of these bulbs not only looks Dapper, but they also serve a purpose by acting as a heat sink for the high-powered LEDs. The biggest limiting factor for LEDs is heat, which can shorten the lifespan or cause premature failure. When engineering these bulbs it was a huge priority to keep them cool for long-lasting reliability.

THE ENGINEERING

These bulbs use highly efficient 2835 SMD LED chips, which are controlled & protected by a constant current driver.

OE7 for MGB

I purchased the OE7 LED with Original Glass and extensions for my MGB and could not be happier. The installation was straightforward, and the extensions allowed me to locate the LED driver outside the headlight bucket. The lights are very bright and project a horizontal illumination just like my 2022 Mustang Mach-E. I wired the smaller bulb to serve as a daytime running light and it works very well. These lights replaced a set of expensive LED bulbs that were installed inside a set of 7" Cibie headlights. Not only are the lights much brighter, but the bulbs also don't make a high pitch sound like the other bulbs did with the micro cooling fan. Marc at Dapper answered all my questions and I could not be happier with the service and the product. Well worth the cost over the cheaper alternatives that upgrade the bulb, but not the lens.
